The Magnolia Company
Building a consistent, recognizable social presence
The Client
The Magnolia Company is a family-owned magnolia farm in Barberville, Florida, run by the Roth family. From their 75-acre farm, they handcraft magnolia wreaths, garlands, centerpieces, and gift trees that have decorated homes across the country, and even the White House. Their products have been featured in Southern Living, Better Homes & Gardens, and HGTV.
They had a beautiful product and a rich family story. Our job was to make their Instagram live up to both.
The Challenge
When we started working together in 2023, Magnolia's Instagram had about 15,000 followers. The content was inconsistent, with posts that varied in style, tone, and timing. There was no clear visual identity tying everything together. That made it hard for new audiences to understand who Magnolia was at a glance.
Their goal wasn't just more followers. They wanted an Instagram presence that felt as intentional and polished as the brand itself.
Our Approach
We started by planning, before posting anything new. We built a storyboard for Magnolia's content, mapping out the look, feel, and flow of their feed so every post had a purpose.
Our focus areas:
A defined visual identity: a consistent color palette, photo style, and layout, so the feed reads as one brand.
Content pillars: clear themes like [e.g. behind-the-scenes, products, community, tips] to keep content varied but on-message.
A reliable posting rhythm: a steady schedule so followers knew when to expect new content.
A consistent brand voice: captions that sound like Magnolia every tim
How strategic content and a cohesive brand voice grew Magnolia's following by 167% since 2023.
